I have
been working with a company as a Visual Information
Specialist for 18 years. I have realized that my
skills are not where they should be. I am now 50
years old and would like to upgrade my design skills.
What is the best option for me?

David, you may want to consider
a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication. A degree
in Visual Communication is designed to develop artistic
students for careers in the fields of art and design.
During this type of program, you may take courses
such as: computer graphics, color theory, and principles
of design. This program could help you to hone in
on the skills you already have to improve your abilities
and help you to advance in your career.

I will soon be graduating
with a major in communications and a minor in both
Spanish and Japanese. I have always been interested
in technology and computers and wanted to know what
field of technological studies would suite me. Would
it be possible to pursue a Master's in Information
Technology? I am planning to go to Japan after graduation
and would like to take my classes online while there.
Can you please help me and perhaps give me some

Nicolas, it would definitely
be possible for you to pursue your Master's in
Information Technology while in Japan. You would
want to think about where you want your career
to go upon completion of this degree to decide
whether or not this is the right degree. The MIT
degree can give you an introduction into the field
of information technology while giving you the
skills you need to succeed in the industry. Courses
you may encounter include: Information Security,
Object-Oriented Programming, Database Design and
Implementation and Cryptography.

my degree in business administration with an emphasis
