Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSACC)
In response to corporate and accounting scandals, the U.S. Congress passed the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in 2002, setting forth new standards for the way organizations govern themselves and disclose their auditing practices. This legislation is expected not only to have a dramatic impact on the way organizations operate but also the opportunities it creates for accounting professionals who have obtained up-to-date knowledge of these new standards and practices.
To meet the demand for professionals with the real-world skills to implement these new guidelines, Colorado Technical University Online developed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting that can be earned in as little as 15 months**.
